Idris Khan was born 1978 in Birmingham, England. Khan is an artist based in London. Khan's work draws from a various range of educational sources including literature, history, art, music and religion to create tightly layered images that is both abstract and metaphoric.
like how Idris Khan layers his photographs on top of another as it has a lot of details and gives the audience a feeling of movement as they follow each photography one by one and keeps the audiences eye busy.
This is one of my favourite Idris Khan photograph as it shows movement and a story. In this image on he left, it shows air through the levitation from the body several images of the figure. The story I get from this photograph is the theme of death demonstrating the figures soul rising from his body and looking over their own body reflection over their own life, it is quite a sad photograph as it shows the soul slowly leaving their body and life gradually.
